To my dear brothers, sisters, friends, and kind-hearted people,
My name is Rokib Ahmed. Today, I am gathering the courage to share some very personal and difficult parts of my life with you.
To be honest, it is not easy for me to talk about my struggles or ask other people for help. But my situation has become so difficult that I have no choice but to reach out.
A few months ago, my mother suffered a brain stroke. I did everything I could to save her. I borrowed money and spent whatever I could afford on her medical treatment. Unfortunately, despite all our efforts, I could not save my mother. I lost her.
Before I could recover from that loss, my father also suffered a brain stroke. Once again, I borrowed money and did everything possible to pay for his treatment. Sadly, despite all our efforts, I could not save my father either.
Today, I have lost both of my parents. But the debts I took on to pay for their medical treatment are still with me.
My family does not own any significant property. Apart from our small homestead, we have no real assets. I do not want to sell the only home my children have, because I have three sons who depend on me.
I have a small medicine shop, which is supposed to be the main source of income for my family. Unfortunately, I currently do not have enough money to stock the shop with medicines. Customers come looking for medicines, but many times I cannot provide what they need because the shop is almost empty.
Without enough stock, I cannot run the business properly. And without the business income, I am struggling to support my family and repay my debts.
I have three sons, aged 4, 11, and 13. I am responsible for their food, school expenses, clothing, tuition fees, and other basic needs. Every day, I worry about how I will provide these necessities for them.
I have already tried asking relatives and people I know for help, but everyone has their own difficulties and limitations. That is why, with great hesitation, I am now reaching out to you.
I also have health problems of my own. I have diabetes, eye problems, lower-back bone problems, and heart problems. But I often put my own health aside because my children need me.
I am not asking for help so that I can live a luxurious life. I simply want an opportunity to stand on my own feet again.
My biggest need right now is to restock my small medicine shop. If I can get the business running properly again, I believe I can earn an income through my own hard work, support my children, and gradually repay the debts that have become a heavy burden on our family.
That is why I am humbly asking for your support.
If you are able to help, even €5, €10, or €20 can make a meaningful difference.
What may seem like a small amount to one person can become something very important when many people come together. Your support could help me purchase medicine stock, keep my business running, provide food and education for my children, and begin rebuilding our lives.
If you are unable to donate, I kindly ask you to share my fundraiser with your friends, family, and community. A single share may help my story reach someone who is able and willing to help.
I know there are many people around the world who need help. I am simply asking you to look at my situation with compassion and give my family a chance to get back on our feet.
I do not want to depend on donations forever. I want to rebuild my small business, work hard, support my children, and gradually become free from the debts that are weighing us down.
Your small act of kindness could give my family a new chance and give my children hope for a better future.
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my story. Whether you donate or simply share my fundraiser, your kindness means more to me than I can express.
May God bless you and your family with good health, peace, happiness, and prosperity.
With sincere gratitude and respect,
Rokib Ahmed
