I am Alabofa-Pere Tare-otu, was born on the 20th May 1993 and I am a single mom.
It has always been my dream to be a top facial model, when I was younger I started to pursue this dream, but I became pregnant for my daughter. It ended up making life very different and harder than I imagined, as being a single mom was not in my diary.
I had my daughter 7 years ago it had not been easy. I have been doing everything in the best of my ability to take care of her and myself. I want the world for her and she believes strongly that I can give it to her.
On the quest of not failing my child, I have worked several jobs, from a wellness coach to a sales woman, to an Uber driver, a make-up artist, a nail technician, a food vendor and any decent job that my skill was great enough for.
It’s been years and I long desperately in my heart to get back on track in achieving my dreams.
Currently, I’m in a competition contesting for one of the top melanin brand in Nigeria. I need to win this because it offers juicy prizes and a range of other opportunities that are life changing. My daughter means the world to me and I want to not only give her the best but create a chance in life for her. I am being vulnerable and transparent in seeking help as I face bills, food, transportation and other necessities, even sold my car to cover some expenses.
I am currently in a competition like I earlier said and I need about twenty thousand to thirty thousand votes to win and this will amount to about 2 MILLION naira to make up the difference as I already have from previous votes about two thousand three hundred votes which had qualified me for this stage. We have just 5 days before the end of the competition and I have to have gotten over 20 000 votes before then.
I solicit for your help in making my dream and that of my daughters come through. This will also change the notion of single motherhood as other single moms who are struggling or just existing in this world will want to struggle to give their children the best and nothing less even if it cost them their blood, because all children are special and they deserve to get the best. I Will appreciate your assistance.
